Shipping

Different dimensions, different costs:

Since custom drinkware can vary from shot glasses to 18 oz. Martini glasses, you can see it’s hard to pinpoint the exact number of pieces which will fit into a 20-foot shipping container. Once we design your piece though, we will be able to confirm the shipping information more accurately. For the prices indicated here, we are referring to 12 oz. glasses for packing purposes.

5,000 to 10,000 pieces:

All pricing is calculated on filling a 20-foot container. If your quantity is less and doesn’t fill that container, the shipping price is the same but the unit cost goes up due to the inefficient utilization of the container space.

This shipping price for a 20-foot container is $5,000, and if 10,000 units will fit in that container, the shipping price would be $.50 cents per unit.

If there are 5,000 units shipped instead of 10,000, the charge is still $5,000 for the container. However, this brings freight charge per unit to $1.00 per piece.

10,000 to 20,000 pieces:

When ordering more pieces, we can use a 40-foot container. If it is fully utilized, we can save you .20 to .25 cents per unit in shipping.

Multiple items (up to four)can be shipped in a container. Unfortunately, ceramic and glass cannot be shipped in the same container because the factories are in different areas of the country (and leave from different ports?).
